| INTRO: |
After a very exciting 2005 championship,
the off road French championship was beginning on the last week-end
with the 1st round out of 5. The race was held at Pierrefeu, a very
famous and beautiful track in south of France and 130 drivers competed.

| QUALIFICATION : |
In qualifying, the 2005 champion Yannick
Aigoin (RB C5BB) was TQ by making the best time in
round 2 and 3. He's followed by his brother Jérôme Aigoin (best time
in the 1st round), and the current world champion Guillaume Vray (RB
C5BB). After the 3 rounds, 6 RB drivers were qualified in
semi ! 2 more after the quarter with Medhy Annaby and Sébastien Cayrol
who bumped up from the quarter.

| THE RACE : |
| In
the first semi, Yannick Aigoin won after 20 minutes, followed by Guillaume
Vray, Michel Farina (RB C5BB), Jérôme Couchon (RB
WS7X3) and Nicolas Reynaud (RB C5BB). In the
semi B, Jérôme Aigoin won after a great fight with Jérôme Ezazian (RB
WS7X3) and Julien Lattanzio. 6 RB drivers were qualified for
the main !
The main final started on sunday afternoon for 45 minutes. Yannick took
a perfect start, taking the lead immediatly. He's followed by Jérôme
Ezazian, Michel Farina and Julien Lattanzio. Jérôme Aigoin and Guillaume
Vray were very fast but commited many mistakes. The powerful RB engine
was also the only one to refuel at 7'30 in this very fast track. All
other drivers refueled at 6'30, or less ! Yannick Aigoin finally won
the race with 2 laps lead. His brother finished 2nd, followed by an
RB group : Michel Farina, Jérôme Ezazian and Guillaume Vray.

| CONCLUSION : |
Excellent results for the RB team with the 1st place, 4 drivers in the top 5 and 6 in the main !
