Yuichi Kanai and Daniel Recward choose the RB Conceppt Power for their world championship succes.1st Yuichi Kanai Kyosho/RB Concept WS7
2nd Daniel Reckward Kyosho/RB Concept S7
After one hour of fighting, Yuichi Kanai from Japan won the World Championship 2000 with his MP7.5/RB Concept combination. Defending World Champion Daniel Reckward, was sceond after this one hour race with his RB Concept Powered MP7.5. Top qualified Mark Pavidis broke his car in the last minutes and lost his second place and finished 4th with his MP7.5 and RB Concept S7(tuned by O'Donnell). Yuichi Kanai took the lead a few minutes after the start and was leading during half the race. During the first part of the race, Daniel Reckward didn't succeed to have a good feeling with his car and was 5th with a safety driving strategy. Mark Pavidis batteled for third place against M. Mathias and J. Kortz. After 30 minutes, the very fast M. Mathias took the lead but he broke his car. Yuichi Kanai was leading again, and only Mark Pavidis was in the same lap than the Japenese driver. Daniel Reckward was third and seemed to be faster and faster. But a few minutes before the end of the race, Mark Pavidis had to stop in the pit and lost the benefit of his very fast race. He finished 4th! Yuichi Kanai winner of this race with a very fast and precise driving, a very efficient car and his faithfull RB Concept WS7 and RB Concept 063 tune pipe!
