Update

    SATURDAY 6TH
We just left Allevard France from the Geneva airport to go to the World's in Thailand.
We received a lot of success wishes from a lot of people all over the world toward the RB brand and RB drivers. We would like to thank everybody and will keep you informed everyday through our reports, pictures & interviews.
Keep in touch.
Update

    SUNDAY 7TH
Today was dedicated to drivers registration and technical inspection.
Almost everybody has arrived now. There are 30 bungalows around the track. The RB one has one of the best spot, on the second floor, with a perfect view of the track.

This morning was quite sunny but it became cloudy in the afternoon. We expect some rain for tomorrow.
We've seen some cars on the track. The 40 drivers who'll fight tomorrow for the 4 spots left had a 30 minutes practice. Track looked a little slippery at the beginning but was ok after few laps.

We'll keep you posted of our first feeling tomorrow after the first practice. If it's not raining...
Update

    MONDAY 8TH
Weather: Cloudy and windy but no rain.
We had 3 rounds of 15 minutes each. One in the morning and the other one in the afternoon.
The track was pretty slippery for the first one but faster as still new.
This afternoon, we saw the track changing, destroying a little.

Reno Savoya did well as he's doing fast laps and he's very consistent, which is the most important here.
Billy Easton and Miguel Matias are improving their setup, changing few things.
Kazuya Tanaka, Elliott Boots and J茅r么me Sartel are learning the track. As it's their first time here, they'll need a little more track time compared to others who've already drove hundreds of laps before. We know they'll be in the rythm.

In general we can say that the track is very hard on cars.
Not doing any mistake is just impossible and we see a lot of broken cars, even from the best drivers.

More news tomorrow.
Update

    TUESDAY 9TH
Today is another practice day.
The track was oiled during the night and some corners repaired with a large amount of concrete.
It was a bit slippery for the first round of practice but getting better and better.

The second round of qualification took place on a track providing good grip. Temperature was reasonnable. So good conditions.
Matt Castelano realized the best time both on 1 lap and on 10 minutes.
Atsushi Hara is fast, Tebo and Savoya as well.
Elliott Boots had a good day and is now performing well.
J茅r么me Sartel is improving both his car and his driving on this very difficult track. He's doing better every time he put the car on the track.

It's sometimes very hard to pass through the traffic and many drivers lost time with this.
The important thing is really not to make any mistakes as they can cost you a lot.

But it's still practice and serious things start tomorrow with the qualifications.

Tonight is the opening ceremony with a nice orchester.

We'll keep you informed of the results tomorrow.
Update

    WEDNESDAY 10TH

In the first one, Ryan Maifield TQ'd with Cody King 2nd and Reno Savoya (RB B10/RB Fuel) 3rd.
Miguel Matias is 10th, Tyler Vik 18th, Billy Easton 22nd.

During the break, we had a nice meeting with all the RB drivers and took some "family pictures".
Thanks to Neo Buggy (John & Phil) for the pictures.

In the second round, Ryan Maifield TQ'd for the second time.

RB drivers are very fast, some are more lucky than others.
We'll see tomorrow.

Special thanks to Neobuggy for the nice pictures of the Team and drivers.
Update

    THURSDAY 11TH
Today, we've again two rounds of qualifications.

It was cloudy in the morning but Q3 went without any rain until the last heat.
Atsushi Hara TQ'd this round in front of Billy Fischer, Jared Tebo, Adam Drake and Reno Savoya (RB B10/RB Fuel).
Reno made a safe run, concentrating on his driving to avoid any mistake.
So he managed to take the 5th position and ensure here a big point.

Elliott Boots made some mistakes and Miguel Matias as well.
They've the speed and just need to find reliability.

J茅r么me Sartel finally found a good setup for his car and looked good in the beginning. Unfortunately, he had a smal crash and broke the wing. But he's more confident now and have good hopes for Q4.

Q4 started with heat 6 but rain came in heat 15.
The organizers decided to stop the race for a 15 minutes break to let the track dry up.

Track was dry for heat 1 to 5.
Track conditions were perfect for heat 1 and 2, providing high traction thanks to the small rain 1 hour before.
Jared Tebo set the pace in round 1 and kept the TQ.

Reno Savoya and Elliott Boots had a safe run
Reno made the 10th time and is 3rd overall after Q4.

So after 4 rounds of qualifications, here is the overall ranking:

Billy Easton had a good run ending 10th.

TQ honors went again to Tebo in Q6.

Update

    SATURDAY 13TH & SUNDAY 14TH THE RACES
On Saturday took place the subfinals until 1/8 final.
We saw a lot of nice battles for the qualifying spots.
J茅r么me Sartel had an amazing fight in his 1/8 and took the last spot for the 1/4 final.

Saturday evening was already the end of the race for a lot of drivers with big deception for some of them.

Sunday started with the 1/4 finals.
Elliott Boots was driving perfect and was supposed to bump up into the semi when his steering servo broke.
Tyler Vik had the same story and stayed into his 1/4 final.
Throttle servo problem for J茅r么me Sartel depriving him of a semi final.
Billy Easton made a safe race ensuring him a spot in semi final.

In the semis, both Billy Easton and Reno Savoya had a clear race and took a deserved spot for the big race.
Miguel Matias hit bad luck and saw his chance to make the final flying away.

Some big names stayed in the semis, some suprised everybody by making it to the final.

Sad discovery: Reno Savoya's mechanics found small metal parts into the fuel tube between the fuel filter and the engine.
Fortunaltely, they were able to clean a big part of it before the start but one stayed stuck into the fuel intake which made the engine running funny into the semi but without big consequencies for the result.
After investigations, those parts cannot come from the car and it's obvious that they've been placed there on purpose, just after the fuel filter to go directly into the carburetor. :-(

The final:

A real worlds final with a big fight for the title until the end between Cody King and Atsushi Hara.
Reno Savoya signed the second fastest lap of the race but hit troubles, broking a steering servo.
That will be for the next one Reno...
Billy Easton impressed with a good 5th spot.

Here is the final result

We'd like to thank all the people who supported us during the year and especially for this race, all the drivers who are using our engines and products, confident in the good job we're doing.
RB made a very good world championship without any problem and every RB driver was very satisfied of both performance and technical support provided by RB.

Of course a World Title would have been the perfect result but all the good feedback we had from everybody make us very proud of the job accomplished.
So thanks to everybody who continue to trust in RB.
