The opening round of the Dutch 1/10th 200mm Nationals was run last weekend in Groningen in the very north of the country.
In the qualification there were different track conditions between the heats. Sander Borghoff did a really good job with his original RB R3 engine to get in third position, direct in the final. There is a wider and stronger field this year in the Dutch championship. Jurgen Geerligs and Daan Jacob where driving both in the semi B with their RB powered V-one. Jurgen drove himself to the third spot and Daan won the semi. These 3 drivers were using the new RB SpeedLine tyres for the first time and they enjoyed the consistant grip on this low traction track.
In the final was a long battle till the end in the last lap. Top 3 in two seconds. Daan was very happy with the consistants of the engine and it was very strong in the infield. In the bottom and midfield. Also the tires were very consistent in the final and for the RB drivers it is a new improvement. The tires are very stable compared to the other tires. We had a lot happy R&B drivers
