INTRODUCTION

The NSW State on road titles were held during the Easter holidays, Wednesday 4th April to Monday 9th 2007-04-26

There were three classes run during this event with 1/8 on road , 1/10 Nitro and 1/10 nitro pull start

With 85 entrants and predicted rain, heats were reduced to 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes.

With traction compound been laid, traction at this event was very high ,with the lap record in nitro tourer been broken a few times.

After rain delayed qualifying rounds the finals were held on the Monday rain day.

THE RACE

Nathan Ryan who qualified 2nd called a delay due to electrical trouble and started the A final at the end of the field.

At the start Ray Zarb (top qualifier) took the lead with Blake Young and Joe Patane following. At one stage Ray had a 10 second lead.

A few mistakes saw Joe Patane reduce Rayâ€™s lead to 2 seconds Ray crashed again and Joeâ€™s RB powered V One S III took the lead and at the end finished 4 laps ahead of John Bates with Blake Young 3rd.

An excellent 1st and 2nd result for the RB C12.
