We travelled to the Logan Off Road Club for Round 2 of the Winter Series. A large turnout greeted us as it has been a long time between races due to bad weather!!!!!
Aaron was entered in Buggy. The track was still "wet" for the first round of racing as the track had received almost 20mm of rain on Friday night. Aaron was in the first race and we decided to go for it.
The car was really hooked up and we TQ'ed Round 1. As it was best round to count we decided to try for 10min in Round 2, but fell short by just 15 seconds.
Round 3 and Aaron and the RB were one, going 12 seconds faster than his first round win and taking TQ for 2 out of the 3 rounds.
Throughout qualifying the RB BXR performed sensationally.
Aaron also recorded the fastest lap of both qualifying and the finals.
Finals
Starting off pole Aaron was away and cleared out to never be challenged for the 30 min final, in the end Aaron won by over a lap from second place.
Once again the RB BXR was unbeatable, the motor performed brilliantly all day and we couldn't be happier.
Our next big race is the QLD State Titles on our home track at the end of June |
