 RESULTS/PICTURES

    INTRODUCTION

The japanese off Road championship was first planned in October and had to be postponed because of the terrible weather. Good thing as the weather was indeed much better in November !

    QUALIFYING

There were 14 racers using RB engines out of 59 racers.
This specific race had approximately 100 drivers last month, but the number of drivers decreased due to the postponed race.

JMRCA (Japan Model Radio Control Car Association) utilized point system for this race.

There were 5 rounds of 7 heat (group).

On the first day, we had 2 rounds of 7 heat, and our team driver, Kazuya Tanaka, finished top.

On the second day, we had 3 rounds of 7 heat, and out team driver finished top again.

Each heat was 5 minutes race, and only top 2 drivers are qualified as A main.

The other qualified A main driver was Atsushi Hara.

    THE RACE

Our team driver had 5 minutes practice in the morning on the last day, but the front suspension arm was broken, and he lost his practice time.

Add machine trouble to that and our team driver ended as the last in the final race.

The screws for Rear Torque bar (which links chassis and rear gear box) got loosened, and the torque bar hit the flywheel and caused clutch shoe explosion.

Then he had to switch the engine during the race, and he lost approximately 10 minutes for this repair.

    CONCLUSION

Bad luck for Kazuya Tanaka but congratulations to him for a great pole position.

We're very confident for the future and have no doubt that he'll have more chance next time.
