This is a special race, organized by the local club.
A race with 10 hours, beginning at 14.00 o’clock and finishing at 24.00 o’clock.
Each team had 4 drivers, driving each one 30 minutes.
Only 1 buggy and 2 engines per team.

The race was completely dominated by the team Arpemodel, with GS CL-01 and RB WS7.
Since the first hour until the final, this team, with the drivers Carlos Cardoso, Jorge Gomes, Hélio Lopes and Paulo Miranda, and the mechanics Zé Tono Lopes, Silvério Lopes and Paulo Rêgo, was always first, making laps and laps without the minium trouble with the engine or the buggy.
A very good driving and a smart operation in the pit box, as well as the fantastic preparation of the car and perfect set up of the engine, were the secrets to this victory.

In the final, the Team Arpemodel did 749 laps, with a difference of 93 laps to the second. They made around 200 km., without any problem.
The RB WS7 was really perfect. It stopped only 2 times, in the pit box, during the 4th and 8th hour, to change the glow plug. And this operation was made only by precaution, because the plugs were perfect. After almost 200 Km., 11 liters of fuel and 2 glow plugs, the RB WS7 went on with a strong powerful and prepared to a new race.

In the end, one of the drivers said: “This is not an engine, but THE engine”. |
