Stupid question but I'm going to mount my RB523 in my revo. What springs do I use for the header? I mean the springs that wrap around the block and connect to the header? I guess any will work but just didn't know if there was one that I should be using.
Thanks

Hey thanks Rody. I did not see any springs in the kit but maybe I over looked something.

Did your engine come with a manifold and a pipe? then in this case the connecting springs should be included.

Yes I brought the kit with the engine pipe and header. I have to look tonight and see. Perhaps I over looked something. I'll check and get back to you tonight. Thanks again Rody.

Keebler,

The stock springs are ok however it would be wise to go with .21 header springs! Reason is, sooner or later YOU will lose or break one of the stockers and its easier to replace a .21 spring verses the RB springs cause they are easier to find!

Ya you are correct. I did see the springs in the kit. By the way... Why does RB use the sloted screw heads for the head bolts? Does anyone know the size screw to use for a hex style head?

Slotted screws are easier to work with when mounting the engines. If you want to have a hex. screw set, there is an optional set available, the part#01060-1
Size of the screw is M3.5x16
