I used the side mount big block pipe . I mounted in back with a tmaxx hanger wire also used my stock rb manifold it just fits under my hpi jeep rubicon body . I richened up my jets both .25 of a turn . The pipe comes with 4 different spring rates its a spring that has a cone up inside near the manifold . It comes with 2 cones one with a little lager holes . Any way its like having a small pipe for more power in to low and as u wind out the spring opens and It flows more than at the top end when level off at top speed the spring closes the cone and that makes more power in the top end . Its like changing your pipe length to move your powerband . I haven't even fine tuned it yet and I noticed a 10% power increase and it sounds like pleasent low pitch growel . I can't wait till tomarrow so I can fine tune it . I'll give an updated if I remember .

You may actually want to try the small block version of this pipe and find it's actually better. The tuned length is usually within a half inch which is what the small block pipes do, as opposed to the inch of travel adjustment the big bore pipes do.Besides the small block pipe 2 stingers are a little smaller than the big block pipe ones and if you have too much exhaust flow you will lose power. So when you get the dough, try the small block version on your big block as well, you may find it works actually better then the one your using now.

Well I went to the local track and the buku I'd have to say has now given me a 20% increase in power over stock also lower operating temps at 176 deg. its like the same as stock. When I lean it out to 210 deg. its insane and I havent even begun to tune the muffler I just left in 1 ring and the small hole cone and the highest tesion spring. But the fun ended when coming off the big jump left lower control arm snaped and it was an rpm arm. bummer but the muffler rocks

Could you get this pipe rear mounted instead of the side mounted version? WoW I did not know you could get that much more power out of that pipe.
