I had my engine rebuilt with new bearings, and ran the car this weekend gone. Tonight when checking everything over before running again tomorrow I noticed that my carb had moved. It seems that the pinch bolt is really tight, but I can actually wiggle it left and right quite easily.
If I put the carb in the other way, no problem. It seems there is wear on the plastic 'liner' at the base of the carb.
Do you know of a solution to stop this at all?
It seems that apart from replacing the carb body at great expense, there is not much else I can do. Would it be OK if I took some material off the inside surface of the threaded section of the pinch bolt to hold it in tighter?
On a side note, this engine has less than a gallon on it.

For me the only way to solve this(without replacing the carb body) is to degrease the inner part where the carburtor is going, also degrease the carburetor neck itself(the part which is going inside the crankcase), then apply a little silicone or other heat resisting sealent upon the upper half of the carburetor neck(so the pinch-bolt will be covered inside too. Then mount the carburetor, tighten the carburetor at 80%, then let it dry and once it has dried, thighten the carburetor completely(do not overdo it). This should do the trick, however do not disassembe it again since the fixation will only get looser if you disassemble this again.

The carburetor of the TM323(part#01901-323310) should fit, however we have discontinued this item here, maybe there are still some around in the shops.
