I have a new Fastlane Machine Chassis(small block) and an aluminim trans. the trans was used in another chassis for just a short time, I mounted it in this chassis and bought the TM523 new with the mount and the exhaust. but when I go to out the motor in with the clutch on it(stock) the clutch bell hits the spur gear first and doesn't let the motor go forward enough to align the mount with the holes. and if your familier with the chassis there's just not enough metal at the mount area to be reaming holes, plus I have so much into it now I don't want to start those type of things...Dave

The TM323 and TM523 are drop-in solutions for the original REVO, if you use modified or optional parts on your REVO then you could encounter these kind of problems, or you go back to the original, or you have to make some modifications...

Try reversing the mount, my 323 mount came reversed, luckily I noticed that from the pictures first before trying to mount it in =). Hope this helps!

Yes, that is exactly what I did, after I asked everybody around me. I just assumed that the factory had it right since it came already mounted. This came as a package motor, mount, and full exhuast, thanks for your input...Dave
