The carb neck is constantly loose on my engine I can not tighten it anymore; I’m guessing this is what’s causing my engine to overheat reaching temp of 270 to 310+.

- Is this true could this be the reason for the high temps?
- What can I do about this? I can literally just pull it out no matter how much I tighten the hex screw.

Please contact your LHS from who you have purchased the engine from and ask them for assistance in this matter. This is not something we can solve from here and it is probably related to your problem.
