I am still having a tuning issue with my 323. The temperature fluctuates from a nice 240 to about 280. I richen it and the temp goes down but then the power is awful - not much pickup. I have yet to pull a wheelie (16/38 gearing). I don't necessarily want wheelies all the time but it's nice to see the engine is capabale of it. I am on about my 10th or 12th tank (perhaps more). I really want this engine to work out. What is the warranty on something like this? If my LHS gives me trouble in exchanging it - what is the next step? I'm having a guy at an LHS look at it today (not the LHS I got it from - that one is too far to go during work). If he tells me after looking at it that there is a problem with the engine - do I go back to the LHS I got it from or to RB?

The LHS or Dealer from who you have purchased the engine from is the one who has to satisfy you. We from our side will do our best over our distributor to satisfy him.

Impossible to give a straight warranty on these engines, nor a timespan, too many things can happen to an engine once it is sold and used. We suggest you contact your LHS for this.

What's a good operating temperature when tuned properly for these engines? Outside temp being around 70 degrees and using Rocket Science 20% nitro.

I always ran mine around 220 and it had plenty of power and a good smoke trail. On really warm days I would see it get to 240 or so. I tried to keep that to a minimum and ended up with right around 13 gallons from the engine.
