I am having trouble with my idle stop screw. If I turn it in at all, it stops the slide completely. I need to remove the carb to check it out. Do I need to remove the screw behind the carb and knock the sleeve out that the screw goes into, or just the screw? When I turned the carb a little on installation it seemed very tight when I removed the screw like the sleeve would need to come out too? Thanks

It is normal that when you turn in the idle screw that this blocks the slide of the carburetor. This is a position you normally never use. When you unscrew this screw completely the slide then can be removed.
If you are not sure about what you are doing, the we suggest strongly to ask your LHS or dealer from who you have purchased the engine from to show you the basics of these engines since otherwise you can do more harm then good.

Right, but when the screw was turned any amount at all the slide would lock completely. I found the idle screw to be slightly bent which was pushing against the top or bottom of the groove in the slide before it was turned in enough to affect the idle.
