Just installing my 323 on my revo and I am having problems with the carb opening all the way. When the instructions say it should open all the way, How far is all the way? I tried adjusting everything and can only get it to open just over 3/4, you can still see part of the card. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to adjust the carb and the throttle arm on the carb as well, this will take some time and patience but make sure you do it. If it is binding you are going to end up with more problems in the long run. A strong servo forcing the carb open is just wearing away at the metal. What I did was took off the throttle return spring and tied a rubber band there for testing.... If you get it to open and close fully with the rubber band then your problem is like mine was... the Throttle return spring is too stiff as the 323 sits back a little further. I did two things.. got a stronger servo and made a new return spring that was not soo stiff. A strong servo also does the trick but again be sure there is no binding at all if that is the route you go.

I had the same problem with mine. It seams to be a common fault. Fist you have to set the Transmitter t 70/30 to give the throttle servo more travel. Then I took the throttle rod (the one from the servo to the throtle arm on carb) and turned it upside down so as to clear the spring. Then I played around by rotating the throtle arm on the carb untill it was working freely by hand. Then installed a softer spring just to save battery power. I left in the stock sevros and are woking fine. The end result was the carb opening fully and a little bit more and closing just fine. Hope this helps.

can you link me to, or tell me what throttle spring you are using? I made one from a pen spring, lol but they dont hold their shape for long. Any suggestion as to what to use in place of the throttle arm on the revo? not the one on the carb itself the one on the truck that rotates, its worn and ive noticed that it catches when its about 95% open.

I belive its integy, I just went into the LHS and ask for a ball bearing type bell crank. You can also just add a bearing to the exist bell crank.

I can find a 3 racing bell crank in the uk but the one in the pic looks taller, are you using the standard spring mikesrevo?
