Hi. I just installed the 323 in my Revo and have already broke off two cooling fins from backflips. Are there any tips for protecting the head? I want to buy a new head but I'll just end up the same way.

Don't backflip... LOL... someone told me to put fuel tubing on the head to protect it from scratches... I've also heard using Zip-ties.. did both of 'em... they got ripped off after about 2 wheelies... LOL... I think the best advice for protecting the head is to get a body that covers it (Proline CP2, Proline GMC SierraLP, J Concepts Illuzion, Hummer, etc) I think New Era makes a roll bar, but I've heard it doesn't fit very well with the TM323... *shrug* I just lifted my stock Revo body... it sorta protects it... LOL

I run the New Era rollbar with the 323 and there are no interference issues. Actually, the rollbar has kept my 323 head safe from many wheelies and other mishaps.

A cheap alternative is a hyper .21 cooling head protector.

Got mine from acehobbies and found they fot very well. Added a couple of zip ties for added security.

Come in a pack of 3 (black, red, purple)
