I have heard that it will fit the 2.5r and since everything that fits on the 2.5r fits the rb i would say that it should fit

Im hoping this is true also. I am using the stock EZ start system right now, but I have ordered a roto start system and an HPI OWB I hope this setup will last a very long time. I will post an update this weekend when i get everything in and running and let you guys now how it goes.

Hi guys been searching for some info about fitting roto starts to the rb323.
Did you have any success? Can you list the parts, and can you get access with the shell on?

hi guys i have had the roto start on for 2 months, already burnt 1 owb out(my fault) you have to make sure you only press it in 1-2 second bursts these things have so much torque. you can get access easy with shell on. the part # are 1430 for owb and hpi 87110 for roto start. also i havnt broken any engine mounts since outting it on,i guess its from loosing all that weight from ezy-start hope this helps.

Thanks Crewy, does the Roto start cover plate come in the package or is it a seperate part? The hpi bearing seems to be a different shape.
