There are always more people who complain and let this know via a forum then when things are going fine and without troubles...
If I look at the qty of engines sold and the problems which really come back to us, then I have to say that it is surprisingly low. If however a problem occurs, then the LHS or our distributor and at the end we will do our best to solve it in the best and fastest way. If there is a problem, then I suggest you read this too: http://www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php?part=Support&L=En&pagefaq=faqEn/How%20to%20get%20Help%20or%20assistance
Upon this you also have to look at the price/quality of the TM323 and make your own opinion. Of course we try to make the best engine and there is a price attached to it for wich we think it is good. This does not mean the engines are indestructible because if you do not maintain and use them properly, they will not last...
At last you can always ask the LHS who is selling the product to you because they are the one's who you have to deal with when there is a problem but also you can tell them your appreciation when things are working great.

yeah your right i do ask a lot of questions at my lhs and he is very helpfull when it comes to the trx2.5 but he doesnt like to deal with other engines. funny huh. the main problem ive had with the 2.5 is it will not hold a tune no matter what ive tryed so before i buy another engine i have been basicly wearing out tech supports with questions. so here we go, i see a lot of praise about the o.s. carb and its tunability and will hold a tune easy, is the rb an easy carb to tune and does it hold well from day to day?

The only thing I can tell you is that we made the TM323 as easy as possible for someone to tune. Of course this is a faster engine and so you have to be a little more carefull, but for that you have also loads of power in return.

The RB holds a tune VERY well!!!! Once you have it set good you won't have to touch it again unless the temps change by 30+ degrees.

I have had my RB some time and have had no problems, had another engine in there and it was not a patch on the 323. First you must install it correctly, I changed the throttle arm for a 3racing one for better movement, make sure the throttle opens and closes freely (a little light grease behind the carb boot sorts any problems before thay start). Pre warm the engine befor brakein, I did 3 extra tanks of fuel. Then for every day in the UK I set the temp at 210, this takes care of hotter and colder days. to stop the engine going weak through a tank of fuel I found an in-line filter cured that problem. I also use odonal 100 plug and that seems fine. So much so I have bought a second 323 fitted a diffrent clutch and clutch bell for diffrent conditions. You could also try a 3racing flywheel (vented) and also there brake disc to stop it!!!! Posts: 4 | From: UK | Registered: Jul 2005

You want praise - you got it - I unpacked the box, installed the kit, no binding, no issues, ran through my five tanks and haven't looked back!!!
I too had issues with the TRX and tuning - I was new to Nitro when I got my Revo and had never ever tuned anything other than maybe a radio - lol. I consider myself quite good at it now - and still I battled with the TRX motor - I used to go to the track and give it to the best of the best tuners who would get it right but it would maybe only last one heat - after 5-10 mins it would need some fine tuning.
With this motor - you set it once and leave it - I would say that once you have the LSN just right - the only changes needed are maybe a 1/2 hour movement on the HSN through the day to adjust for outside temps. A very stable tune and doesn't need much play at all between race days etc.
This motor rocks and knocks spots off the .18 you refer to who's name (OS) shall remain anonymous ~ LOL
Happy racing!!!
