The factory settings can be found on the backside of your exploded view supplied with your engine.

As for the temps., try not to exceed 230F

I know Rody indicates 230 as the prefered max temp. I installed my 323 a couple of weeks ago and during breakin could not get past 205-210. Today after about 3/4 gallons it still takes about 3 minutes to warm up to 200 degrees. I have only leaned the HSN about 2 hours and the temps get to 230 +/- depending on the fuel tank level. Lower the fuel a little higher. Still have not exceeded 240 at anypoint.

The engine is very strong at this time and much much more power than the 2.5R or os18tm both of which I have run in my truck.

Richen your HSN just a bit and see how your truck responds.

I am using the stock plug or a McCoy 59 with 20 O'Donnel fuel.

I, too am having problems - motor ran fine for the first several weeks. Now it's shutting off on me at low throttle or idle, once the motor gets warm. Temps are in the 190-220 range, so the HSN setting should be correct. I've tried different glow plugs, replaced the fuel tank lid gasket, but the problem persists. I'm going to try to set the LSN back to the factory settings, but I also wanted to know if I should put an extra shim on the head, which I've heard is necessary sometimes when running higher nitro fuels. I'm using O'Donnels 30% nitro racing fuel. Any suggestions?

Maybe your compression is getting low, or maybe you just need to raise the idle rpm a little to keep it from stalling.
