i also am experiencing the problems related to the larger traxzxas fly wheel and rd box and my carb also does not open all the way. i seem to have corrected the fly wheel spacing by placing my shimms under the collar rather than under the c-clip this moved the fly wheel away fromthe carb enough so it will not hit.but i still don't have a ton of room to rotate the carb. my question is which way are you guys rotating the carb clockwise or counter? and how much will alittle do as i still do not have alot or room? also some of you stated you have used the stock flywheel with the rd box , how is this possible mine misses by a mile? THANKS, Wade

I rotated mine clockwise when I was looking directly at then also adjusted the arm untill it worked smooth. I had mine working great with the standard flywheel I had 16/40 gearing on my truck which pushed the flywheel down further. Also you can adjust the height of the wheel on the RD starter box.
