I'll start off on a good note, i did do a search but could not find the exact answer i was looking for
My RB TM323 in my revo is one seriously fantastic engine and has lots of low down grunt even running 17/36 but when its warmed up (especially with the recent hot english weather) it will cut out, althout it will start with little fuss after if i give it some gas but it just cuts out again not long after. The engine itself never reaches more than 260F and has always been run slightly on the rich side to help protect it. Can anyone help me out, especially english people, as they'll most likely know what i mean with the weather changes of recent weeks

Indeed, in normal circumstances the hotter the weather the colder the glowplug. However the rpm use of the TM323 is lower then the other engines we use in competitions.

Hi ive tried the 01055-TRX plugs but they havent improved the running of it. A friend has a TM323 also and he has noticed that the black fuel nipple under the high speed needle comes loose on his so i checked mine and found the same problem, but mine wont tighten up so im thinking this could be my problem
Where can i buy spare parts for the carb as i dont want to have to buy a new one

mine is the same way, only I was able to tighten mine up. If it'll saty that way or not had yet to be seen. I'd like to replace the nipple with a metal one if there's one that'll work ?

I was thinking about a brass one from one of the RB .21's but i dont know if it will fit and i then need to get hold of one
Rody, will any brass fuel supply nipple from say a S7 II or S5 fit the carb on the TM323 engine?

No, you cannot use the fuel-nipple of the S7 or S5 engines on the TM323, they are not interchangeable. The only thing I can suggest is to use a little locktite to fix the main-needle hoder in the carburetor housing, in this way you do not need to overtighten too much this part.

I have tried some high temperature sealant around the main needle and ive fitted a new fuel line and a tank rebuild kit but the problem is still there. Ive been working on it with a friend all day and we tried RB 1056-6, 1056-5 and 01055-TRX glowplugs but nothing fixed the problem. Have you got any suggestions Rody
p.s. the temperature never got above 260F
