Since installing the TM323 I seem to have misplaced by second gear? I have read a whole bunch of forum entries and the guys are saying that they've had to lower the change point about a full turn in order to get the tranny to change up a gear.
Has anyone had similar issues - I've now lowered it about a full turn and a bit and still nothing - I'm fairly sure that it's not stuck or anything - but I also don't feel the urge to rebuild the tranny if I loosen it up too much in the search for second gear.
I'm quite sure the tranny is in first to start off with - the revo bounces off the line and flies. Pulls wheelies too (a little annoying at times - since it lands on it's lid) - so anyone got any advice or seen this???
Did I mention I have a Forward Only conversion in the truck? Which at the best of times makes it hard to audibly hear the gear change - but you can notice it when the truck flies all of a sudden......

When we installed the TM323 in the REVO the gear was changing immediately and you could hardly notice(hear) this. It seems that you have been loosening the screw while you probably need to tighten it.

I have only just installed and ran my first 5 tanks for the break-in. I found that I started to shift to second on the 3 tank at 1/2+ throttle. I had to move the shift point to later to stop this from happening during break-in.
To "locate" the stock position will be very tough. I would adjust the screw so it does not shift at all - adjust to the max you can so it shifts later.
Run the truck on a high speed pass - make sure you are on pavement - will not be able to hear that well if you are on dirt or grass.
If it will not shift turn the screw 1/4 of a turn to earlier - repeat step above.
Keep turning the screw earlier until you hear/see if shift. Once you have it then fine tune the shift point.
Hope this helps.
Like Rody said I found that the truck shifted very quickly when I installed the TM323.

I had the exact same thing happen. I had to back the adjustment pretty far out to get it to shift. It must have been stuck somehow because after it shifted once or twice, it started shifting way too early. I had kept track of how far I backed the screw out, so I just put it back to stock and it works perfect. Hope this helps.

Just to let everyone know - I noticed at the last race day, that with the engine not running pushing the car backwards resulted in some serious binding in the tranny, but not experiencing this when moving forward - I decided to let it be till after the event (I just figured I would fix it later since it wasn't impacting me) anyway when I eventually opened the tranny to inspect I noticed that the little grub screw that adjusts the shift point had been rotated so far out that it was now binding against one of the gears in the tranny, but only when moving backwards.
On closer inspection I noticed that it only required slight movement in order to engage the second gear - meaning that more than likely I was "stuck" in second because of the extremely early shift point - the amazing thing is the truck still pulls wheelies pulling away in second!!! Now that's impressive.
Anyway to cut a long story short I readjusted to what felt like a good shift point - ran the truck again - noticed I was stuck in first, shifted down a little and a little more and now have a very noticable first to second gear shift!
Thanks for the help and support...... now all I have to do is figure a way to keep the power on the track so as to win some races!!!!
