There's lots of discussion on the Traxxas forums about oil %, my personal experience is that 12% oil fuels run substantially cooler than 18% oil fuels. I'm guessing that 18% is really insurance for marginal tuning and no after run maintenance, and that if I tune properly and use ARO, 12% is fine... thoughts?

My 323 does really well with the 12% oil mix. I run Trininty Monster HP 20% in both my buggy and M/T and they run flawlessly. I have tried Trinity Monster Brew with the 16% oil in my Picco and I can honestly say , it did not take to it very well. I won't use any fuel with an oil content higher than 12%
