I've posted this problem on the Traxxas Revo BB and also with the shop where I bought the engine. My fully assembled engine is 1mm too long, so the CB goes past the spur by 1mm. Based on the Revo discussion group, a number of people are having this problem, possibly unique to people who just received their motors. I really want to get my RB in, but I'm afraid it will trash the spur since there isn't full contact, others are reporting the CB hits the slipper and causes damage. Help? My flywheel is fully on and spins true, some people claim that the stock 2.5R cone washer under the flywheel will help, but that it's not a great fit. Thanks for assistance, - Patrick

1mm off seems difficult to believe, please show this problem to your LHS from who you have purchased the engine from and ask how to solve this problem. I suggest you compare this with another TM323 engine.
What you can also try to check is to measure the length of the originla TRX shaft and the TM323 shaft to see if there is a difference.
If the engine is the problem then your LHS will recognize this and contact our distributor and see what can be done to solve this problem.

Upon final assembly in the vehicle, it was only 1/2mm past the spur, which I think is fine, it's just clearing the slipper clutch. I have it all broken-in, it's really running nicely (nice job!). Can't figure out how to get the carb to open all the way, rotated the carb, switch the radio to 70/30, adjusted all the linkages, I'm only getting about 80% open, checking on the Traxxas forum.
Thanks, - Patrick

When doing the adjustments, take of the retainer spring, the original spring is quite tight and stops the servo from opening the carburetor completely.
