Would like to know what mods and part numbers I would need so I can start my Revo with a starting box. I am thinking about the native racing Revo box.

My RBTM323 is on the way. LHS ordered several weeks ago and I am only waiting for it to arrive.

I would like to get rid of the oneway bearing as my rotostart currently on my 18TM is going out and I do not want to keep replacing once I install my new 323.

What backplate is required?
What needs to be done to the shaft? I hope nothing because I do not like to mod anything thing that is new.

Thank you,
Keith

The part you need to convert the engine to bump start operation is p/n 1901-323210...just remove the rear cover and starter shaft that come with the engine (raise the piston first to avoid damaging the skirt) by unscrewing the four cap screws, and then install the new cover with the four screws (the cover comes with the o-ring installed).

Be sure that the machined "flat" on the rear cover is at the top when installed on the engine (to clear the skirt on the piston).

No modifications should be necessary, as this rear cover has a machined groove to clear the extended pin on the TM323 crankshaft.

I have been searching online for p/n 1901-323210 and can not locate. I have went to several of the listed hobby stores on sigmatrading.com and eventhough they say they carry spare parts this one does not seem to be in stock.

Do you know of a store that has one in stock? Or who I may contact to order one?

Thank you,
Keith

Yep I have the starter box for my Revo and I got the backplate from Ace.... It's only like $14 and it's sooo nice to get rid of those cheap ass traxxas one ways. You will be very happy, I suggest the RD starter box it's a perfect fit for the Revo.
