Well we have had a RB 323 powered Revo for sometime now and my father the LHS and myself have no clue what to try next to try to get it running decent… The truck will not keep a stable temp through a tank of gas, which by the way is about 5 minutes! I understand that these engines need to be tuned while being driven; this is not our first nitro engine. But our first with problems this severe! The engine’s temps constantly climb, there is no low end, and It won’t idle! We have gone back to factory settings, but we were running a richer setting than factory and still getting high temps! After setting back to factory we have tuning it quite a bit and still nothing… We are using the RB #01055-TRX Glow Plug, Byrons 20% Fuel. The plug has been replaced without much change… The gas tank seal still makes a pop sound when lid is remove, and it was just replace not to long ago... Would really like to know what to try next as the stock engine looks like a very good replacement to this thing…

That the temps are changing through the complete tank is possible, we noticed the same thing when testing ourselves but this is not related to the engine but more to the tank of the REVO.

When the tank is getting empty the engine starts to run much leaner then when full, so this makes things a bit more complicated to get the right tune.

That you have no low end not idle with this engine seem strange to me.
How long have you run the engine?
Are you useing our pipe system?
How is the compression of the engine?
What intervention did your LHS do to your engine?

It is hard for us to see what might be wrong, in general the fastest way to solve these kind of problems is with your LHS from who you have purchased the engine from.
