I read this was a problem with someone else as well. I thought my orings were bad so I replaced all of the o-rings in the carb and the same thing happened. The LSN would stay in place untill the engine got warm then it would start to lean it's self out. It has to have something to do with the metal expanding and not having a tight seal around the oring any more. What to do??? love this motor and all of it's power but I can't possibly race with it and have to stop and turn out the LSN every lap. [Confused]

Also after reading Sharkys post I have the same issue with the idle. I have to turn the idle open to the point that it almost binds the carb to get the idle high enough to stay running, is there a carbon carb that will work on this motor? I have always had better luck with carbons than metal carbs.

I had this same problem with the lsn.I tryed a (little) thread lock on the needle and it stopped for awhile as well.Had another problem develop and that was after start up it would run for a few seconds and then it would die from flooding out.I think the seat got worn out on lsn somehow. The only thing I could do is was buy another carb.

I had the same problem. Applied a little loc-tite and so far so good. Let see how it goes in the next few tanks...

Yes but the threadlock should not be necessary, may have to get a new carb it looks like.

I suggest you try the loc-tite solution also.

Hi Rody,

Loc-tite is only temporary. I had to apply more today as LSN was coming lose again after 3 tanks. I have a new set of o-rings on order but I suspect this will not solve this particular problem. Do you have other suggestions?

Thanks!

Then in this case you can always contact your LHS or Dealer from who you have purchased the product from for advice. He is the only one who can judge if this carburetor then needs to be returned to us or not for exchange.
