I just installed my rb 323 in my revo and the install went very smooth untill i tried to adjust the carb linkage. I have two seperate problems, the first is that the carb sticks about 2/3 throttle and won`t go back closed. Even when the engine was off the truck it felt very stiff to move the throttle in and out. Secondly it won`t open fully. I don`t know if the two are related any help would be great! I have read some had to rotate the carb or flip the linkage I haven`t tried that but I will today.

If you can get it to open 90% or so thats all you need for this motor especially on the track. All I did to mine was adjust the stop on the linkage just enough to let it return fully and turn the throttle arm clockwise until the it lined up with the gap between the flywheel and case.Did not have to rotate carb.

i understand the stock spring is strong but doesn`t that pull the throttle closed? My problem is the carb sticks 2/3 open and won`t close when I release the throttle.

What have you done adjustment wise to the linkage, throttle arm,etc..? Have you checked the slide for an obstruction? It seems if it was stiff when off the truck that something may have gotten inside.I am not an expert on this but need more info.

I adjusted the stop? on the throttle rod because when you switch from 50/50 to 70/30 the servo wouldn`t open the throttle at all. Should I try the arm thats mounted to the carb? Is it ok to loosen that screw and move that arm? It`s hard to describe it without being able to show you exactly what I am talking about

Yes try that.Rotate it clockwise a little at a time and test the throttle. You dont want to move it to far or it will pop out from your bellcrank(the black thing)Make sure you have the right size hex wrench which should be the smallest one you got with your Revo.
