The retaining bolt was missing after a few tanks with the RB323. There has been a few instances of the same reported on Traxxas's forum. Is it possible that the retaining bolt was shipped loose (to allow adjustment) from the factory?

We have indeed seen these reports also and we can assure you that we have been checking all the retaining bolds before shipping and that they are tightened correctly.
