I just ordered the turbo combustion chamber RBC1901-323120, and know I will need to run a turbo plug. I would like to run the Trinity 30% as it is easy to get here. I also ordered the head shim kit, will it be ok to run the 30% with the turbo on it?

cperalta, if you could please let me know how the engine performs when you get that installed, i was gonna order it as well but i have been delaying it due to the fact that turbo engines can be a real pain to tune as they are a lot more sensitive to the elements. i have been told that running the 30% is no problem as well especially with the altitude that we are at because you lose about 5% hp for every 1000ft of elevation. if you dont mind me askin where is it that you order your stuff from anyways?

I will let you know as soon as I get that installed, This engine already has tons of power so I don't really need it but am intrested to see how it performs diffrently. I normally order anything for an RB from Ace hobbies. Their shipping is pretty good and I have never had a problem with stuff being out of stock.

MLeMay23, does your LHS have a track as well? I want to get into racing but not sure where I want to race at. Also what is the practice/race schedule there?

Ace is also where i get all my stuff, i have been dealing with JR and Kevin for years, they are good guys. My LHS is that Rocky Mountain RC Hobbies place I was tellin ya about, they race every sunday and practice is Monday thru Saturday. They have race series going on right now. They are haveing 3 series of 8 weeks each which are spring, summer, and fall series, best 6 out of 8 counts, then a championship in october. they have pretty good prizes too. practice is $5 all day, race day is $10 for series or non-series racers. if you want to race a series they have a deal for $60 for the whole series. they also have a $100 practice pass for all year, which can be used for the outdoor track or they also have a indoor carpet track for 1/18 mini's. whew, i hope this helps, the only other track i know of is rat raceway up off of I-70 and brighton I believe, all their info is at ratraceway.com, that track is also a lot bigger.
