I have been buying gas by the quart to find what works best in this beast of a motor. Traxxas gas is NO good, Eliminator pro race blend had the engine running pretty good but always around 230 and I like to keep it closer to the 200-210 mark. Trinity Monster brew was awful, I got the truck to start and that was it, could not make run no matter how I adjusted it. Best I have found is the Trinity 20% power blend and the trinity platinum 30% race blend. Motor loves both of these, I have a hard time keeping the front wheels down even at half throttle and at 6000 ft above sea level [Eek!] Anyone else have any gas they have had good luck, someone at RB do you have suggestions to a good gas as I have noot seen any RB gas anywhere around here?

seeing that you live in the same state as me, are situations should be very similar. i have started using odonnell as most of the guys on here will recommend and it is awesome, it burns clean and cool and if you live close to denver you can get it at a local hobby shop off of C470 for about $22 a gallon. almost all the guys that run at that track also use the odonnell fuel. if RB has teamed up with them you know it's gotta be good stuff.

it is Rocky Mountain RC Hobbies, its over by 470 and Quebec. they have up to 40% i think, i personally use 30%, especially due to our elevation.

Ok cool, do you have the head shim set in order to run the 30% or does it run ok without?

it ran okay without it but just to make sure and with the advice of kevin at ace i added the shim, i had to add the shim on my WS7II as well, no big deal, easy fix. well worth it too.
