Hello everyone. I have a question about tmaxx chassis flex. I put the RB .23 in my tmaxx and I think it has to be one of the most impressive engines I have ever seen. My problem is the spur gear and cluch bell gear. When I put the engine on and was starting the tuneing part of the break-in it just keep eating up the spur gear. I went trough 3 spur gears befor I went a got an RRP steel one. I took the truck out to try to finish my tuneing and the spur gear destroyed my cluch bell gear. I know that its no a gear mesh problem because its something I have done many times and had no problems. Some of my friends think it might be chassis flex and I think they might be right. The .23 is a great engine and has much more power than the 2.5. Thanks Rody for such a great engine. Any help would be great.

Make sure you use a HARDENED steel Clutch bell with the RRP spur gear. The stock traxxas clutch bell won't hold up. I used to have a t-maxx with a big block in it and had same problem.
