Hey Rody, I cant seem to get the throttle not to hit the nut on the end of the spur gear. When I get it to clear the the nut on the end of the shaft where the spurgear is at full throttle it then hits the flywheel at idle. Is there a trick to the setup that I am overlooking. Thanks for the help Posts: 7 | From: Del Haven N.J. | Registered: Mar 2005

Indeed the space around that area is very small.
To be able to turn the carburetor, first unscrew the carburetor screw 2 turns, then push or gently hit the head of the screw so it comes loose. Once this is done you should be able to turn the carburetor.
