What a great motor! I now own two of these motor and very satisfied with them. For the price they have outstanding performance compared to any other .12 engine I have tried.

My only concern is the motor is to difficult to mount in the all popular Mugen MTX4R kit.
The carburetor on this particular engine seems to be very low profile compared to others.
This causes problems with the throttle as takes a while to get the carb to an appropriate angle so it doesn't protrude against the tank and full throttle can be gained. Once this is completed and setup, because of the new angle of the carb the ball linkage when opening the throttle scraps across the top of the mugens radio plate, sometimes getting stuck cause of this, alot of file work has to be done to the underneath of the ball linkage or radio plate itself. There are also problems with the dust cover getting caught against the radio plate mount causing the dust cover to pop off near the ball link on full throttle, again more filing to be done to this part so it does not contact.

Apart from these issues the motor is great. It just very frustrating to do all this just to fit the engine into such a popular chassis.
I believe this is something rb need to address and fix or perhaps maybe redesign of the carb or different carb altogether similar to the r3 etc.

Regards.
Sam.

Hi sam thank you for the input and yes I can understand what you our saying.

The problem for us is that the car-manufactuers have all their own idea of making their car and they sometimes change things which for their chassis is better but then can give a problem for the engine to fit in properly.
Anyway, we will look into this more closely and they to correct this in the future.
