pulled the head and button off my tm728, took the shim off the button, and thickness measured .625mm
the manual shows the thickness to be either .1 or .3mm
what should my shim thickness be while using 25% nitro?

On page 2 of the exploded view of the TM728 you can find how much shims are originally supplied with the engine.
For a use of 25% nitro you need to find 2 aluminum shims of 0.3mm, so in total 0.6mm
