i just got my 928 into my lst2...i am new to tuning...i read it is easier to tune with the restrictor off then use...can people clarify?....can i leave the carb restrictor off? what would be the effects bad gas mileage but crazy power?

No, for me there is no difference in tuning the engine with or without the carburetor, if you are new to tuning then I would leave things as they are on the engine, read the instructions carefully and read around a little on this forum before you start your excercises.
