Hi, i'm new at this forum and come from Germany, so sorry for my bad english... [Razz]

I have a tm928 with the normal headbutton in a hot bodies LS2P truggy and the power of it is AWESOME!!! [Eek!]
First i had some problems with tunning it, but now it runns smoothly at 110 - 120C. I read all the topics and saw different temps that Rody says not to exceed... In an old topic i read not exceed 260F and in others not try to exceed 230F.

[Confused]

My question is, can i leave the temps they are?
If not, what would you say which temp i have to run the engine?

If your engine runs well in between 110 - 120°C and you see smoke and have good power then use it in this way.
Do not make a fixation on the temperature of the engine, of course it is something commonly used to measure the temps of an engine but on the other side it is not a very precise method because of the many different devices for this and they are not all very accurate.
We have some topics about this too in this forum.

thanks for that quick reply. Smoke is good and the power is also perfect. I think i tune to smoke and sound like you said. But what is the maximum temp i should run the engine? I have no problems with too high temps, only want to know the maximum temp. [Cool]

Try not to exceed 130°C, if your engine runs well at 110°C then no need to go untill 130°C, some engines run the best at 110 and some at 130, there is no real fixed rule for this.
