The videos seem to do the talking for you.Because the engine sounds like it responds well to the pipe at various RPM, and I know the jato 3.3 is fast, but I had never seen one move like that.So it seems to be a good pipe.

imo i think the pipe is a great design. the engine makes its most power when its on the pipe. each pipe is designed to be on the pipe at different rpm ranges. pipes are made different lenghts to determine when the engine is going to be on the pipe. while the bu-ku pipe has a spring loaded cone in the end which expands and contracts to exhaust pressure which keeps the engine on pipe at all times. this is a great concept except for 1 thing. i do believe the pipe will be great until you get some run time on it then as the heat from the engine and the wear and tear of the rc stress the internal parts of the bu-hu pipe, the pipe will become inconsistent. the springs will wear out making tuning it a nightmare. there will be play in the cone causing exhaust to slip by messing up the pressure. kinda like blow by on a piston when a engine looses compression. nitro engines can be a big enough pain to tune when your having issues. adding more moving parts like a bu-ku pipe could only make things harder when you do have issues with a tune. normally when you start to have issues its just a few things but makes a huge difference. air leak in fuel line or fuel tank, air leak in a engine gasket. or a bad glow plug, or bad fuel. maybe the needles are not set right. now when you add the bu-ku pipe you now have to worry about the pipe coming out of tune aswell and along with that if your engine is out of tune and your tryin to tune the pipe your just getting more lost then from where you started at. again this is just my opion. i had a huge debate about this pipe at my track and all the top guys thought the same things about it. other than that i cant to much more. i'm still waiting for another person at my track to be a guinny pig to test it. if it holds up consistantly for 2-3 gallons then i say its worth it. but i have a feeling you'll be replacing the springs and cones in that pipe every 1/2 gallon for gallon. again just my opinion.

The BUKU works killer on the 928 motor. you will need a cone with larger holes but dave can help you with that. I have been running the Buku for a year on multiple motors and I have not had a spring where out or any other type of issue. rbbigblockrevo should try one. there is a plug that comes with the pipe to stop the cone from working during engine tuning. There are a few TOP drivers that have tested and run the BUKU at events without pipe restrictions. John Schultz beat Steve Sladen with a small block savage with an RB and a BUKU in a race. As I have said been running it for a year without any parts failing. If I did it has a life time warranty so who cares...
