Dear all, after almost 18 gallons of racing i found out some play in my crank i.e where the conrod goes in. At first i thought the conrod needed to be replaced, so i bought a new conrod tried it and found out to have the same bit of play.

Can any one tell me whats the minimum measuring wear point of the crank

Thanks

You can find this information on page 2 of the exploded view supplied with your engine. If you have lost this documentation then I suggest you check out the support section of our website.

Hi Rody, thanks for your fast reply.

I found this on the manual

Crankshaft pin : Diamètre du manneton : 5.37mm

is this the measurment of the pin when the crank is brand new ? or is it the least it can wear ?

Thanks

Yes, this is the size when it is new, I would not continue to use it if it is under 5.33mm
You must measure the pin at 2 points with a 90° inteval because it can happen that the pin wears more on one side then on the other.
