So does anyone have any ideas or info on the new RT engine? Is it a true truggy engine or is it MT style brute like the 928? Also, whats different about the RT in comparison to the 728 or 928? More power, smoother power, better fuel economy, what?

The RT is the follow-up of the TM928, the main difference is that we changes from turbo to normal glowplug to make the engine more easy to tune and added the New L2G cooling-head for a lower gravity and a better look.

Good work on the new look engines Rody,They are looking better than eva, I must admit i have been running the standard head button in the 928 for a while made a huge difference in tuning..

Just one question what plug is comming in the new 28 rody, hot or medium ????

claudacio1, The RB 928 is a true monster of an engine it walks away from the likes of a OS 28 or LRP 28 just have to get the standard head button and get it breathing with a good pipe and you will have more than enough power,The new 08 engines should be even better, A 928 will out last a OS or LRP or radical engine 3 fold.... my 928 has had 12 litres and it still pops like new when you turn the fly wheel...

The glowplug delivered with the RT28 is a Medium STD(normal) glowplug, we have opted to go back to the normal glowplug for to get a wider carburetor setting window.
If you are looking for more power then you can always change to the turbo head-button.

The RT28 can use the same rotostart conversion set as the TM928.

Normally the RT is the most powerfull of all of them, maybe not as much rpm as the C6 but surely more torque due to his bigger cylinder contents.

Hi rody.
I to own a tm928,I found that with the turbo botton in the first 928 it was alot harder than usual to tune. When you say"if you want more power, put the turbo button in",Is there a considerable difference in performnce through the rev-range or with torque with the standard button in it aswell as widening the tune window??
thanx rody!

The turbo button increases the power with about 3-5% but also makes the as you say tune window more narrow. The Normal glowplug makes this window wider but then again you will have less power too.
