I have a tm928 with a strange problem. The engine dies at the most stupid times.temp 110 celcius idle is good.I am driving on a offroad track and then after a few laps the enginge dies slowly .I can start him directly after he dies and run a while. The biggest problem is that sometimes i can run only a short period and somtimes almost a complete fuel tank.I use RB fuel 25% and have used the stock RB plug a rossi 6,os6 and os7
I have run him with other fuel,This give me some more drive time before dying.

Being that you can crank it right up after it dies, would leave me to believe that the engine is still in good shape.

Crusher03 brings up a good point about how much you have ran this engine. Mine never really settled into a tune until I had a good gallon on it. It even went through a plug killing period. But once she's broke in good, it should be a very set and forget engine. They actually become the opposite and are hard to shut off...

My bet is the tune....there is a learning curve to tuning these things. Maybe this thread will help a little...

Also, if the engine is fairly new, run the engine on flat surface and tune it from half tank to empty(not full tank)...Once you get the feel for the engine and tuning it, then tune it on your track

I havent ran it without airfilter.I have ran it with and without fuelfilter.I have ran it with new fuellines without any difrence. The engine has ran a 1,5 liter fuel.
I only have placed difrent plugs for trying not becausse the where broken. The used plugs looks perfect.
About the tunning it seems the most people have troubles with the idle.
I have enouth compression cold and on temp.
I am going to try driving it with a half tank of fuel.It takes a few days before i can drive with it so it takes a time before i can reply with news about it.
Thank fore the help so far.
Hans
