I would like some help regarding the size of the BACK PLATE UNIT screws to attach it with the TM728 engine, as I am trying to use the one I have but they appear to be a little smaller in the diameter.

The diameter of the screws should be 2.5mm

I don’t know but I am trying the 2.5mm screws and they are not tying as suppose. The best I found are 3mm in diameter. They fit very good!

It is not possible to use the M3 screws in the crankcase of the engine where the backplate is situated, you are probably talking about fixing the starter unit on the backplate, since indeed there we use M3 screws.

You’re right! I was saying about the screws for the starter unit not for the backplate to be attached with the crankcase. Sorry my mistake!
