My engine stalls after a couple of seconds of idling...When I start it cold...I have to feather throttle(truck on ground) to keep it from flooding out...even if it's hot...and say I pull in the truck to check the temps...it'll stall on throttle..I have tuned and tuned...have tried recommended pipes(currently 2045...best results was 053(no top end)...tried #6, #7, and #8 plugs as well....
I'm thinking that either there is something wrong with my motor....the rotostarter backplate is throwing off the entire working of the engine...or it's a characteristic of the engine...
Do you recommend a mod company that can customize my engine to confinsate for my heavy truck(LST2)and the weight of the rotostart backplate....or am I a complete idiot and just not able to tune an engine?
I appreiciate any help...

Nevermind...I think I was just over working the engine....I put my racer's tires on my basher(truck that the engine was in) and all of my problems went away...well...it would still load up a bit...but nothing completely uncommon and/or untunable...
I must say though...I am in awe of this motor...after I swapped the tires...I ran it...and brought it in to tune on the LSN and idle...I had taken alot of time to do my idle tweaks...so I decided to run it clean real quick.....well I nailed on it...and it launch my basher(with racing tires) into the air about 3 feet high and for about 7 feet distance...I have never seen anything like that...
sorry for the useless post..

These engines are not running like gasoline engine and can be sometimes delicate to set on the carburetor. In you case I think it is the carburetor setting which is causing your engine not always to run right.
