I have the RB TM323 and it runs really well, but my buddies have trucks that smoke me. When will RB have a .28 for the REVO?

We have some .28 engines in our program but they are not the drop-in solutions for your REVO.

The Revo is not equiped to hold any big block, you need to buy the qoncepts big block kit and a starter box.... Then order the TM928 and gear up... get the 36 tooth spur gear and look for a 20 tooth savage clutch bell... You will also need an 1/8th scale clutch. With the combo your truck will flat out FLY if it had wings.

cperalta,
Thank you for this info. I am very serious about this conversion. Is there anything else I will need? I will track down the parts and order them as soon as your confirm. I have 3 revo's and only 2 motors... Seems like a perfect excuse..
Thanks- Allan

Ok I will make a list below.

TM928
Qoncepts Big Block kit.
RD starter box.
Header for the TM323 (Revo)
Pipe for TM323 (Revo)
3 shoe flywheel (I like the Mugen)
18 or 20 tooth Savage clutch bell.
OFNA clutch shim kit
Clutch shoes and springs of your choice.
May want to consider getting a steel spur gear

The 928 makes more power than the 523, so it will give you more speed, , ,IF you gear it appropriately.

more horespower = more horsepower no matter what rpm it is made at. If one motor makes more horsepower than another, AND it makes it's peak horsepower at a lower RPM, then you simply have to gear the car/truck/whatever to take advantage of that.
No matter how you look at it, more horsepower can push the rig faster, you just have to gear it appropriately. . .

Ok well I have the RB28 in my revo and no steel spur. I have the 728 and it hauls. Side exhaust does work great. No matter what youll have chassis flex by the motor and you will go through spurs every now and then. Thats the weakest part on the revo no question. I use the Qoncepts mount too. Heres my revo flyin!!! http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b337/canadiannascar/IMG_9160Small.jpg and heres pics of it in my trucks - - -

Oh yeah use a 18 or 20T bell and a 34 or 36 spur I am using 18/36 and it's a wheelie machine. Might go to the center diff soon to stop all that... I think the 20/34 will help the best with this issue......

grevo26maxx, that is one sweet Revo! Good job!

What fuel tank are you running in the photo above? Also, what size is it?

How is the fuel consumption on that .28 power plant?
