I just bought a kyosho mp777 Sp2 with a RB S7 II X3last week. But befor I put my buggy on the track I have a $1000 bet against a fully carbon fibered ofna on a straight away race. Now I don't know what motor this guy has got. To make a long story short I need someone to tell me what I need to do the job. My buggy comes with a 12 tooth clutch bell and with this x3 motor it is crazy off bottom end. Its like a drunk mad man!!! My problem is , I need more top end so someone told me to put at least a 18 tooth clutch bell and I should be able to kill the dude.Well I didn't get the 18t bell in but I did put in a 16t clutch bell. It completely boggs off the go but flys on the top end when the rpm get up there.The problem is that by the time I get up to top speed the race would have been over. I tunned the motor in every which way as I could, it just seems as if I need to step up to another motor with more balls. As I said, I don't know what motor he has but I seen his car go and it is fast!!!! I do know that his motor is 2 years old. Someone please tell me what I can do to get this guy on the straight away. Money is not a cost. I need bragging rights...
