its probably me being over eager with the puller but i seem to keep going through them like no tomorrow at the moment. i snapped the origonal in the cold, i snapped the second when the engine was warmed and nearly running. (wanting to run but not quite there) and then on the sime night one i rebuilt using pullswitch cord. again when it was nearly running. luckily Thunder tiger pullers fit but even so its costing me a small fortune. is their anything i can do appart from loosening the plug and grinning and bearing it i can do?

I suppose the engine is quite new, then have you pré-heated the engine?, it makes the starting easier, especially in the beginning when the piston-sleeve is still tight.

preheat that sucker till its hot and crack the plug open a couple turns until it starts will help!
