Having taken the plunge a few days ago ive ordered a new TM728 from my lhs, on many poeple who have used the buggy engines, I intend to fit to my HPI Savage(ordered the sav kit version) But as i have no real experiance in RB of my own,Reading throught the online manuals concerns me a little as ive always been told idle the engine for a least 3 tanks before driving it around.where as its a case of 1 tank idle then slow driving around at half a turn richer.

Stick to the instructions supplied with the engines and you should be fine.
However if you feel more comfortable to let the engine idle longer then this is also fine but not really needed.
