Hello Rody, i am a reseller for your products in Germany. I have sell the 3th Engine TM728 but all Engines have the same problem - to little head shims in it. The exploded view tells me, there must be 2 shims with 0,3mm under the head, but every engine have only one shim under the head. The clearance between the head an the piston is only 0.35 to 0.39mm on all engines, this is to little for use with 25% nitro in a monster truck. i have tell the problem to RMV-Germany who is the distributor an the problem must be to be known by your company. please leave a statement here or per Email.
The engine numbers are 0407712, 04071285 and the other number i can`t say to you, the engine has leave my company but you can have a look to my Internet Site: Nitromonster.de
I am specialising in tuning nitro engines and have made pictures from the first engine who have a shim to little under the head.
Regards Markus
Edit: ok the 3th engine begins also with 0407.... the last numbers i can`t see on the picture again, sorry but is the same charge you have send to RMV-Germany

Until Rody can respond to you, maybe this information will help (there are different thicknesses of combustion chamber):
1). 1900-013 (1 small dimple): has to be used with 0.6mm of shims total. This is the turbo combustion chamber for customers who would like to run with turbo plug with their TM728 engine. 2). 1900-012 (2 small dimples) : has to be used with 0.6mm of shims. This is the standard combustion chamber which have been delivered with the first batch of #01900-000105 TM728 engine. 3). 1900-012 (3 small dimples): has to be used with 0.3mm of shims. This is the standard combustion chamber which have been delivered from the second batch of #01900-000105 TM728 engines and later.

Ok but a clearance of 0,35 and 0,39 is for use with 25% nitro to low. You become problems with RPM and heat also with connecting rod and the ball bearing.
Tell me the matter of this, why have the second batch one 0,3mm shim less?
Please make contact with RMV about this and we will handle this from there, this is not really the place to do this... Normally the TM728 engines should be supplied with 2 rings of 0.3mm each.
