Ok, just wrecked my nova cooling head by stupidly running the truck with no body or roll bar...
For the record thats not a smart thing to do..

So now i'm in the market for a new cooling head and I'm wondering if I should try the nova cooling head for the TM728 or stick with stock ? The stock cooling head is huge!! so I'm not sure if the Nova will provide any better cooling but has anyone out there tried it ?

I suggest you stick with the original one, using a smaller cooling-head might make your engine run too hot.

I've found the stock heads to be completely up to the task, especially in RB's case, where the heads are pretty much as big as they come!
Aftermarket heads are pretty much bling, some work TOO WELL, and have you runnin dangerously lean just to get the thing up to temp! You think Wow! This head dropped my temps, and now it makes more power, but it's the same as running the motor at 300!
These engines are very reslient, and can handle much higher temps than in the past.
Really, if you want that little extra power, it doesn't hurt anything to simply lean it out a bit more, and run it hotter.
At 200, most of my engines are great, but at 240 to 260, they're even more deadly, and tend to load up and flame out lees, and idle MUCH better.
